The progress entry in HFF is supposed to be immediately seen in Vista reports once submitted. Because employees can make progress entries for inactive cost types, this is not the case. The person making the entry does not receive a warning that the cost type is inactive and the system proceeds to allow the submission. The employee then relies on the reports that are generated. The reports are not correct since the batch never really posts. It just sits in Viewpoint Vista waiting on someone (namely me) to discover that it has not been posted. I then have to correct and review the batch so it can be posted manually. This is not working as seamlessly as it should. Please find a solution.
