When filling out the Onboarding invitation, we’d like the system to validate the SSN entered on the form against all previous employees in HRRM. If the SSN is found, pop up a notification window with Employee Name, EE#. We then acknowledge the window, clear the form, and we'll start again and populated in the 'Previous Employee' box. we would then continue. Goal is to find previous EE SSN BEFORE the invitation can be sent. Frequently, HR is not aware that the on boarding target is a previous employee because they did not self-identify, or Hiring manager didn't communicate it. Names are not enough to determine this reliably. This would then trigger other internal processes for follow-up etc.
