Employees have the ability to cash out their Paid Time Off up to 80 hours a year but it must be approved by the HR Director. A requirement of this policy is to keep at least 40 hours in their PTO bank. Therefore, this process must be monitored and approved.

This would be super helpful unless more flexibility is added around the setup of cashout. We allow cashout in set increments with a maximum of 40 hours at one time. The way it is setup right now, employees have a free-for-all request structure that is a real pain in the A S S to administer. If employees elect "all available hours", it will spit out numbers we can't process and often times it calculates an amount above what the employee actually has based on the way they have their system set up.
Either allow an approver or give us a way to customize the set up in the system based on our own policy and procedure.
