We have two companies: one used for Employees and another for Contractors. The Contractors are entered in the Employees of the Contractor company for the sole purpose of entering and tracking Contractor time in Grid Timecards. These records are reconciled with our contractors' invoicing and only approved time can be invoiced to us.
We suggest you allow the Portal options to control sending out the automatic Welcome Email by company. But still allowing us to send individual welcome emails to a single contractor as we do have some contractors who are responsible to enter and/or approve time.
