Allow Vista Users that are not PR Employees to access the portal. I know this was done for Admin access, but we need it for our contract employees. There were many comments on that idea about allowing this for Vista users that are not in PR Employee. We do not want to create fake employee records in our system for contractors, who are a vital part of how we rung our business, to be able to access the portal.

This feature is needed for contract payroll administration employees. We don't want them set up as an employee but need them able to process portal timecards.
We typically have VA User Profile records for these people. Our needs are primarily for our shared service employees (IT, PR, HR, Accounting) who are employees in a different accounting system but need rights in HFF as a normal user to support the system. We also have office admin contract workers that also need to have normal user rights. Currently we have created an "HFF" company where we set up these "employees" so that they aren't blended into the normal payroll companies.
Hi Mark,
Typically for us, they do have a Vista User Profile and HQ Reviewer profiles. They would also be in AP Vendors as well, but there could be different users that need it and the AP Vendor Master doesnt have a spot for multiple contacts.
Happy to help if you have other questions. This would be really helpful for us!
Hey Team,
Do you have records for these users anywhere in Vista already like AP Vendors? Or would it make sense to have a user type independent of Vista?
I also wanted to let you know that this would most likely be a large change so I'd like to see how more of the community feels about this suggestion before we decide to pursue further.
Thank you
We need this for joint venture projects, when we still want the teams to be able to review invoices and work on the progress billings in the portal, but they are not active PR employees for our company.
We need this as we work with 3rd party recruiters and applicant screening services and those individuals would need to be assigned as recruiters to job requisitions to access applicant info for screenings and follow ups. The only current work arounds are to create a record in PR in Vista for the 3rd party but we don't want non-employees in our payroll or to add the user as admin by using Admin > User Access > Setup Named Login Users (see "Set up a Non-PR Employee System Admin" feature in Help). We don't want to or need to assign these users any admin privileges. Please allow for a standard user profile to be created in Keystyle without connecting to our PR master in Vista or making the user an admin. Thanks.
