If an employee has leave approved for multiple days but wants to cancel one or more of the days in the prior approved request the employee currently has to cancel the entire requests and resubmit the days they still want to take. Approved leave days should be able to be canceled individually. For example, in the HR Leave Request program in Vista an employee could submit an entire week of vacation but the days were individual entries and the employee could go back and cancel one day(s) within the week. This happens often in our construction jobs where a worker is asked to come in on a day that was an approved leave request but they have other days they still take off. Having to cancel all the days and resubmit the remaining days is confusing, especially if the days taken have already passed before the remaining days occur. An employee can't change approved leave once the leave dates (period) begin. They have to change the approved leave prior to dates of occurrence.
