I think it was highly irresponsible of Viewpoint to roll out the W4 without all of the proper choices being available to our employees. Im certain it is illegal to tell an employee what they can or cannot claim on he W4, which is what viewpoint has essentially done. Now, when an employee wants to claim exempt, they have to fill out a paper copy, and the electronic copy when onboarding. Makes the point mute of this being an online capability.
