Add Notification when employee submits a Benefit Window

When an employee submits a benefit window request, it would be nice to be able to set up a notification email to the benefits team.

    Hey Mark - KB says:

    Reviewing Benefit Requests

    After a user has submitted a Qualifying event, the Benefits Admin will be notified via email that a request has been submitted and can review and approve the request from the Benefits Dashboard. Only a Benefits Admin can review and approve Qualifying Event requests.

    Is this not the case or is it not working as intended? Like Tara, we would like the ability to approve the window in advance of employee elections.

    Since the benefit requests are not saved to Vista until they are approved and benefit admins will have the ability to reject any unapproved benefit windows, do you think that workflow could work for you?

    No, I do not because employee must provide proof of the qualifying event before they can elect.

    Hi Tara,

    Do you currently have the "Automatically approve Qualifying Event Benefit Window Requests" portal setting enabled? If you do, your Benefits team will get an email when the employee submits their benefit elections which can be approved or rejected.
