It would be great if you could add a feature that does not allow users to submit timecard's with blank jobs and phases. It would be very useful while doing payroll so you don't have to track down the users to tell them they forgot to code the job and phase.

Do you currently use the grid and standard timecard? Do you have employees in PR Group 1 that will need to enter in time to jobs?
You can customize the timecard layouts and settings per PR Group to hide job and phase or require job and phase.
These users that are charging to overhead are only charging time for themselves into 1 payroll group.

Do the employees that need to enter in overhead lines only entering in time for themselves or in a different PR Group than the employees that need Job and Phase to be required?

Hi Mike,
A Timecard Admin can require the Job and Phase field as long as you don't have employees that submit Overhead timecards on the same timecard layout (grid or standard). Do you have employees that need the ability to submit lines with no job and phase?
