Having reports and documents is very useful. We can customize reports based on their employee number. Some of our people prefer this to logging into a VPN or Vista. But would prefer to have access to Documents, Reports and Field Tool without the sensitive information of Paystubs, W2s, contacts, etc. being available.

What was originally the Employee Portal has grown to include time entry, checklists, daily logs, AP review, etc. If a user is working in HFF, it makes since to have access to reports that not specifically related to employee HR or PR information, so they they don't have to use some other tool to get the information they need. For example, I want to create an SSRS report that aggregates safety checklist scores to show the most frequent problem areas, and should be able to view that report when in Field mode.

That's good point, maybe a switch on the reports to make them available in Field Mode would be better.
We are having a lot of internal requests to make more reports available for use. Equipment assigned to jobs, personnel assigned to jobs, job reports, etc.

We are currently restricting Library Docs and the Report Library in Field Mode because theses modules have the potential to show even more sensitive information than the Earnings module. I'd like to see how the rest of the community feels about this change.
