It would be very helpful for my tool guys to be able to add new equipment as we purchase it instead of it having to go through the office.

I agree that this feature needs added, but it would also be beneficial to add a person to alert (such as an equipment manager, or just enable it to be set to an employee group) when new items are added so that the back office knows when new equipment is purchased.
