This will allow companies to enter overnight time cards through Grid timecard (or standard timecard) and have the system calculate hours automatically. Presently entering a start time of 8PM (20:00) and a finish time of 4AM (04:00) calculates negative 4 hours. I understand the work around is to enter two separate shifts but this is viewed as unnecessary by customers, and their staff who want the most efficient method. It also makes managing auto overtime rules in Vista quite a bit more complicated.
Currently Vista can handle this input.

Hi Team,
We are planning on supporting this for the in-line start and stop times. Thanks for adding this!
We do plenty of night work and this is a must. The last thing I want is employees entering 8 hours worked or 2 by 4 hour splits. I must have the start time / finish time and the hours calculate automatically.
We need actual dates and times entered as our EBA has specific rules regarding the break time between shifts and days in lieu when moving from a day shift to a night shift.
