I would like users to be able to review and approved bills that have been created and submitted for approval, without those users being able to access the JB dashboard and make changes to other bills or create new bills. Basically, approval permission only

Perfect! My plan is to have a different permission for approval only, just wanted to know if you needed approvers to be able to modify the bills they approve. Thank you!
I think if it is possible the security should be more granular and not make the settings "one size fits all". I can see where one company would give full access, where other companies would prefer to limit access. In our case, we would still like the PM to edit the billing, but not create the billing.
Hello, The Edit/Approve/Reject functionality is great as of now for the Reviewer in the Approval>Job Billing Review because it only shows those they are assigned to. Its that as of now, to be able to do this function, it comes with the Job Dashboard as well (not sure why they need both?) where they are not restricted to just their assigned jobs. Personally, we just have internal processes to steer them away from this section but any wanderer that finds this will have exposure to edit/change/approve other jobs. For up-level positions, the Dashboard is great for them to be able to see ALL billings for jobs and have edit/approval functions but most approvers need to stay in their review lanes. (Also noticed the Job Billing Review doesn't utilize the sequences that Vista has on the Billing Group so the second approver can approver prior to the first approver). Ideal world, the Job Dashboard as of today (all billings, edit/approve, etc.) would be something to give to users if we wanted to separate from giving the Job Billing Review functionality versus now they come together. I think then that would fit the subject of this suggestion.
Would you want the approver to be able to edit the bills they are assigned to in the Job Billing Review page? Or only approve or reject?
Dashboard would still be fine to have a user see, but agreed the restriction of what jobs they are to approve and review would be controlled by the Reviewer Group. Huge security breach for us right now that anyone can see and edit anything!

So....this was first suggested 4 years ago...any traction? Just because you can approve an invoice, certainly does not mean you should be able to edit it!
