Currently a Job Requisition requires a city and a state. Since our field employees travel 100% of the time and we don't hire for the job, the city/state are irrelevant for our open positions. The city/state then translates to Filter by Location on the Careers page, which is misleading to potential applicants.
Would you please:
make city and state optional (not required) fields on the job requisition (and ideally allow a write in value for state - this gives more flexibility about how to use those fields)
OR
add portal setting to Hide the Filter by Location, like the portal setting to "Hide the Category section from the careers page."

We need this too. We look for drivers across multiple cities and states and would like to make the city+state fields either not show up or more customizable. We can change the city to say whatever we want but then the state is still locked down to just one.
Editing our request on this to option 1 above, make city and state optional (not required) fields on the job requisition (and ideally allow a write in value for state - this gives more flexibility about how to use those fields).
Revising request because even when Filter by Location is hidden on Careers page, the city/state show on other pages and are misleading/incorrect.
So please make city and state not required and allow override of picklist for state.
