Currently any time entered from the FM app creates a new line within the portal. Time entered from the app should tie directly to the portal, or visa versa, so there is no chance of duplicate entry. We have held from rolling out this feature in our company now as when it was tested, duplicate entry occurred multiple times.

We'd like to give users the option of entering time on the mobile app or on grid timecard within the portal, but they do not tie together seamlessly so we've refrained from rolling this feature out. It seems logical that time entered would be shown in the same format regardless of which platform it was submitted from. That is not the case and it has lead to duplicate entry.

The app has been designed to work one way to the web portal. Since users might be offline for the majority of their use, connecting to the internet is only required for logging in, syncing new data, or submitting timecards. Are you currently having users enter time on both the mobile app and on the grid timecard?
