We have a use case where the time off request has to be approved/acknowledged by the person providing coverage before going to supervisor for final approval. Before submitting the request, the requester has to select the person covering as this person might be different depending on a project
There wasn’t a business case for this, we’re in setting up stages and expressed our interest in having each EE assign/delegate an approver (on their end) for leave requests. We have several EE’s who regularly switch jobs, so rather than having to assign/change approvers, we’d like to see each EE have the ability to do so on their end as needed – all within kestyle
Furthermore, we’d like to see ALL active EE’s have visibility to the request calendar in keystyle
Without an admin having to manually grant them access and without the viewing availability be limited to only their staff/jobsite
If that would be an option this could potentially replace our Main Calendar which is where we currently record all our company wide EE vacation/holidays

Our employees frequently move to various job sites thus reporting to different people at different times. Rather than assigning them to approver groups which would have to be constantly revised, We gave the time off admin the ability to approve all requests (thus allowing to her to see all submitted requests). However it would be beneficial if she could then a route the request to the appropriate approver.
Can you provide the business case for this? It sounds like you are wanted the ability for any approver to delegate his/her authority to approve another employees leave request. If you can provide the case it would help us understand the need for this request.
