Would like an approval permission role for just manager Approval of the Timecard, not the ability to enter time for the employee as well as approve. This way, for audit purposes, they cannot submit and approve a Timecard for a single employee.

Job approvers does not work because its only job time. If I have a project manager who needs to approve ALL time for an employee, he would only see the job time. So our only option is to give him access to enter & approve. They just need the approval, we wouldn't want to even give them the access to change it,. Also, its just Job approval, not SM Work Orders, so again, that's enter & approve. I understand it's audited, but why even give them the option if we don't want them to change it? It's essentially like giving someone access to setup a vendor, enter invoices for a vendor, and pay a vendor - yes it's audited, but you don't want them to do that and setup a fake vendor and find out AFTER the fact, when you can just restrict the access in the first place.

Even though timecard approvers can change and submit timecards on behalf of employees, all of this information is tracked and recorded for auditing purposes. Timecard Admins can review past timecards and see who submitted them at any time.
We also have the Job Approvers that you can configure so they will not be able to submit time for employees, just review and approve/reject. Have you tried this approval?
