If utilizing the PR :: AP linking and an employee updates their PR address or direct deposit account information through the portal (FKA Keystyle) those changes don’t push through to AP as they do if the change is made directly in PR.
This is a problem. We currently have a number of PR records that now don’t coincide with AP despite turning on the PR > AP linking. It doesn’t break the link – if we go change something on the PR record in Vista it will still push the change to the AP Vendor. Obviously this is not ideal.
For companies set up to push PR updates to AP, any applicable updates to a PR record made in the portal need to also push to AP . Maybe this is an option when the admin approves the change in the portal or just done automatically based on the Vista set up or a Portal Setting. Without this functionality, the value of the PR : AP linking functionality in Vista is greatly diminished.

As others have said, update only works from Payroll. Any ETA on this getting fixed?
Made changes to PR info in PR – upon saving it pushes to AP (good)
Made changes to HR info in HR – upon saving it goes to PR, but not AP
Made changes in the Portal, after approval it pushes to HR and PR, but not AP
Is this going to be addressed? This does not function. I see people pointing out that it works from the PR form only. I can confirm that this is the case. You need to evaluate the allow vendors to be updated from Payroll flag and activate the appropriate trigger when the change is being approved. Without doing this you are introducing more manual work.
I don't believe this "Already exists" for the HR Management. Like the other comments say, it does update in Vista PR to AP but if the update comes from the HR Management side it doesn't update the AP vendor.
As Kristen mentioned, it does work when the change is made to the ee in the PR Employee form. But the trigger to update APVM seems to run on the Save action on the PR Emp form so, since the update from KDS goes directly to the PREH table, that trigger never fires.
KDS needs to look at that PR::AP update flag and push the update to both PREH and APVM tables. Better still, fire off the info change approval to both PR Admin and AP Admins so both are aware of it and can approve change.
Hi Michael,
You are correct the is feature is in Vista. When you update the info directly in PR Employee it will push over to AP Vendor. The problem is, if you update the info in the employee portal (aka keystyles), it push to PR Employee, but it does not push over to AP automatically. You have to go to PR Employee, change something (like a "." at the end of the address, and then it will prompt you with the question if you want to push this to AP.
We are hoping that the minute an employee updates something in the employee portal it will automatically go to both PR and AP without the additional step.
Great news this is an option in vista!
Changes to employee name, phone, email, address, and banking info will update APVM from the PREH update trigger. The update is based on APCO.PRVendorUpdateYN (controlled in AP Company Parameters) and PREH.PRUpdateAPVMYN (set in form code indicating employee values have changed and should be updated to AP).
Hi! Any progress on getting this to work?
Or the related suggestion on the Vista side?

We currently can't use this on Keystyles due to it not updating the AP side the the employees banking information. This would so beneficial!
