It would be super handy to be able to edit the email template in the Onboarding section that goes out to new employees! We would like to be able to add more detail and have a detailed welcome!
This would also apply to any of the automatic behind the scenes emails! It would be so helpful to be able to give it our own company spin without bombarding employees and potential employees with emails from the system and from us in the office!

We use the Viewpoint Field Management module for purchase orders and Field Tickets, it would be great to be able to customise the automated Emails updating people of new PO's and approvals, as the current Emails don't provide any relevant information.
We take out onboarding invitations ahead of time and hand the email to the employee with a tablet. The email had the user name to get in, such as Employee 1, or Employee 2 with the PIN. Then they sign in and use their new name. The 2021 R2 update removed the user name from the email. Now my hiring team is scrambling and having to hand write the log on names. If we could edit that email to include the names or not, it would be great!
The customization for the Onboarding invitation is especially important due to the first impression it makes. The generic email is a missed opportunity for us to reenforce our company name and logo, provide a warm welcome and include resources that the new employee can contact for further assistance.
The last sentence of all the automated emails needs to be customizable. We don't use the "administrator" terminology so our employees would have no idea who that is. Additionally, the contact varies based on the context of the notification.

I would like to see the email templates feature on Onboarding, similar to what ATS has. There are a lot of times our HR team needs to email the same reminder or info to candidates when they are onboarding. It does not make sense to move back to ATS just to email.

We did know about changing the welcome email, but thank you for the reminder!
It is the other emails we are looking to hopefully in the future be able to customise. Having our own company 'feel' to the tone of the email would be very benificial!

Are you referring to the welcome email that you can send new employees to invite them to enroll in the portal? This can be customized today :)
Go to Admin > Portal Settings > Email Configuration > Email Options > "Welcome Email: template verbiage"
The other emails are not currently customizable (with the exception of Applicant Tracking), but it's something that I'm hoping the rest of the community chimes in on.
