We have found a problem with the PO Pending purchase orders in Keystyle and have dealt with support several times due to PO processing batches getting aborted in Vista when we're trying to post.
Essentially the problem stems from a user entering info to the header (Co., Job, Vendor) and then realizing that it should be in another company. So they go back to the Company field and change that, but Keystyle doesn't prompt them to change the Job or Vendor. Thus we end up with an inter-company PO (if Job isn't changed after Company is) or an incorrect Vendor "group" (if Vendor isn't changed after Company is).
I have had to create additional training (see attached), but it is not foolproof. People get busy or distracted and a programming safeguard would save us quite a bit of concern and time.
A couple of ideas include:
Clear out Job and Vendor entries if Company is changed. This would prompt users to reselect the info and utilize the other safeguards that already exist.
Don't allow record to be saved if JCCo and Vendor don't match the Company. Provide error message instead.
