Various people entering time in Grid Timecard (or reviewing through Job Time Approval) need to drag the column sizes of various fields to see everything on one page, or minimize columns that don't really tell them much. I am aware of the Grid Timecard Setting where I can adjust the size of these fields, but each user has their own preferences and whatever I adjust for one person is going to drive the next person crazy. It would be nice if each user could adjust the columns to the size they prefer and for it to remember that size forever until they change it...currently they can adjust column sizes, but they have to do it each time they leave the screen and come back.

This would be great! Alot of people complain they can't see the whole Phase description and if they are going in and out multiple times its time consuming
Memory of individual user preferences would make a lot our superintendents and managers happier with the system. They find it very frustrating to have to make the same changes each and every time a page loads in order to read the information they need. We have done our best with standard settings to make things easily readable but we still have a lot of users who want things laid out in their own way.
An alternative idea would be if the text could wrap within that column if it weren't wide enough to show all the contents...the text would simply flow directly below it. It might make the rows a little taller, but the goal would be to be able to get everyone to see the entire contents of the screen from left to right without having to scroll left to right (they might realistically have to scroll up and down more with this feature, but that is at least easier to do with a scroll bar on a mouse).
