Our safety department wants to use the daily huddle for toolbox talks with field user's signatures confirming their attendance. However, the project safety manager must sign in to Keystyle/Field using his own employee name. Therefore, since we enabled employees to view their earnings, anyone who is handed the iPad can click on that feature and see that safety manager's earnings. We would like to use a generic account, for example SafetyManager, to use for the daily huddle. However, users must be in the PR Employee list to work. Can we add the ability to create system "employee" accounts for this purpose?

I believe the Field Mode login available in setup will allow for existing users to pass their device around without exposing their HR related information, we have been using this for field timecards and daily huddles with success.
This would be very helpful for our future suggestions of having external users to approve POs and Invoices in this system so they don't need to have a PR Employee record. We don't use the Payroll module in Vista but are required to just so the user can be setup in Financial Controls.
This could be helpful in gathering other field data. It is good that Jim wants 'an' ID to be authenticated so their is control for where input is coming and will allow future analysis and reporting of this data.
This suggestion would apply to external & contract people, as well. We may also want to have accounts for subcontractors, consultants, etc.
