In Vista under PO Pending Purchase Orders when we process we can assign it to a batch date. In PM Purchase Orders when we interface, we can assign it an Interfaced date. This allows us to control which month the committed costs hit.
Currency when we process in HFF, there is no option to choose a month and it hits the month of the current date. If we have purchase order entered in October, but gets approved say Nov 1 or 2, it's going to hit our job cost reports in November. We are then having to recall the PO, change the batch date, repost etc.
Since the month can be chosen in Vista when Posting/Interfacing, it would be extremely helpful for the user to enter a Month To Post.
