In our case, we would like the ability to restrict what Units of Measure are allowed from the drop-downs on AP Unapproved Invoice portal. Right now, it shows all of our UMs system wide. We have specific UMs that are not allowed on the AP side, but are allowed on the AR/JB side.
This custom lookup is a specific use case. I can see many other use cases for custom lookups, exactly like (maybe even using), Vista custom lookups.
