We are having constant issues with users saving Pending POs without a Job. Once that's done, you cannot add a Job and there is no workflow. Because the Job field is not a drop-down like the Vendor, it's very easy to skip over it.
We've made the JCCo and Job a required field in the PO Pending Purchase Order header in Vista but it does not read this from Keystyle so it would be great to either have Keystyle read the required fields from Vista or have Portal Settings setting which fields are required.
I currently now have to monitor these POs being setup incorrectly (as the approvers will never see these POs since there is no Job and thus no workflow) or our accountants have to keep an eye on them.

No, not for us. We issue PO's for inventory items and they are not job direct.
Hi Kellie, yes posting to one job is the way we issue out our PO's. Having this setting will ensure that the Job Number is added to the PO number.

Any update on this? This seems like a very simple adjustment or setting to add.
I think this needs to be tied to the System overrides. We would NOT want Job required because most of our PO's are tied to inventory, not jobs. We allocate inventory to Jobs via Material Orders. HFF should be tied to System Overrides and then you can set the Job to required for your company specifically without disrupting others who don't want that feature.

Yes, the option exists for quick PO's but not pending, it should be added to pending.
Similar issue: Our PO numbering system is reliant on Jobs being selected in the header. If no job is selected in the header, then the system defaults to some random number from PO company parameters and we have trouble finding the PO later. We've made it required in the header of Vista PO Pending Purchase Order, but it doesn't appear to flow through to Keystyle as a required field. Please make it an option to require a job in the header.
2 POs were created today without a job and had to be manually deleted by someone in Vista. 3 were created last week.
This is a pretty urgent issue for us.
