In the onboarding process there was recently added a new field 'Overtime Schedule'. It defaults to being BLANK. When you try to initialize to VISTA if the field is blank then it kicks an error (Issue #74154 KB #190822185715489) This locks up the system and gets HR worked up.
If I had the ability to default that field to 'None'. The issue would go away. But there is no setting to allow us to set a default. I did talk to the techs.
If it was a required field then HR would fill it out before getting the errors. But there is no setting to set that field to be a required field. I talked to the techs.
I get that it is a training issue to have the user fill in the new field. But the default or the mandatory field would make it so much easier. I assumed that those options would have been available to prevent this error?
