My company is having this same frustration with using the Grid Timecard on cell phones, it's really difficult for employees to view everything and they usually can't see their clock in/out times to enter the proper amount of time.
The Field Management App is not a great solution, you can't see if someone entered any time until they submit their time. If they forget to submit, you don't know they worked and can lead to unpaid time.
We are going to move employees to a Standard Timecard and create a separate PR batch for each day in the pay period so they can still submit time daily. I would love to talk to any of you that have done this! The management can be tricky, and I wanted to see what has worked/not worked for any of you. Would love to connect, my email address is nvalero@pchi.com. Thank you!

Mark Cadman The mobile app is nothing like the standard timecard. The cost of a management field license for each employee is not cost efficient. This should be basic functionality since it's available in the grid time feature. If someone wants to enter by the week the option can be there just like it is currently in grid time. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

    Hey Team,

Since our Standard Timecard is limited to one submission per pay period and our grid timecard wasn't designed for a mobile device, you may be interested in using the FM Mobile app. The mobile app is a Field Management license, but it will allow employees to submit daily timecards on a mobile device. Have you tested out the app yet?

    Thanks!

This needs to happen NOW! The grid timecard is not adequate for individual time entry on a cell phone. I would imagine the user selecting a template that is tied to the payperiod, much like grid timecard but usable on a smart phone.
